"Music Under the Gallows: Using the Arts in Holocaust Learning"
Professor Karen Uslin presented a unique seminar on the role music and the arts played in the life of the camps and ghettos, how the arts affected the lives of the prisoners who witnessed these performances, and how this music can be used in the classroom to teach about the Holocaust.
Professor Uslin is an adjunct professor of Music History and Fellow at the Center of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ.
